Sleep Tip #5: Read Before Bed

It has been said that mental labor is 3 times more tiring on the body then physical labor. The harder you use your mind the more exhausted a person will feel in a shorter period of time.  The amount of focus and concentration the mind and eyes exert in order to successfully interpret what is being read is extreme. Many people become tired after reading several chapters or even pages. Not only will this help you get to bed, but the long-term affects are astounding. Increased memory retention and recollection, vocabulary and grammar are just a few.
