After we doze off, our body temperature begins to cool down. If you are trying to get into the habit of making yourself wake up naturally, you can try to use heat. Set the timer on your thermostat to a higher temperature about an hour before you would like to wake up. Once the heat goes on, your body temperature will rise, signaling that it's time for you to get out of bed.
